When the inspire is in the clip I have to look at it upside down, maybe you can add a flip screen feature so I can read it facing me when it is clip mode.
Thanks for taking the time to share your suggestion on how to improve the Inspire @SunsetRunner.
Having an option like that could certainly make it easier for users that don't want to have to unclip the Inspire in order to read it. Specially for quick glances.
I would like this simply because I would like to wear the Inspire on my left hand, but when sleeping bending my hand presses the button. I woke up today and my watch was about to start an exercise.
I wear the clip. Not a fan of watches. Everything is always upside down. They didn't think this through when they made the inspire. I wish they still made the flex 2. It also had better notifications as you had a magnet instead of metal. The inspire vibrates much less.
Miss my Fitbit One with the clip and was glad for the ability to flip the screen. Being left handed also affects how I want things set up. Don’t have my clip for this yet, but would prefer the button to be on the other side when on my wrist.
Although it doesn’t vibrate in clip mode. I just turn the unit upside. The little rubber holder button is one the wrong side. But it still works. I’m also LH. Hence another reason for the belt clip.
I just got a clip since I react to the silicon of the default wrist bands. I too am left handed, so am used to buttons being in non-ergonomic places, lol!
Would love to flip the screen for clip mode. That way when it's on my left side I can use my thumb to press the button and my index to swipe through options. (Inspire)
180 degree screen rotation would be great for both the clip and right handed people who wear the Inspire on left wrist. It is awkward to reach across and press button on the left side of device. This is common sense and i've seen similar issues posted on other devices.
Clearly there is a demand for this and Fitbit is ignoring it. Users who want to wear the unit on their left wrist are always in danger of hitting the button by accident. Since the screen accepts wipes in both directions there is no reason at all not to include the screen rotationfrotation (standard on the Alta HR) apart from laziness on Fitbit's part.
