Partner with Fertility Friend for Basal body temperature monitoring.

Like many, I've been thrilled with the addition of the female cycle tracking available on the fitbit, however, as has been pointed out here in the community that the calender method is unreliable for anyone who doesn't have a perfect 28 day cycle.

I understand that it is a huge undertaking to add the more accurate basal body temperature monitoring as, it requires not only the hardware to take a basal temperature, but also the algorithms to make the data collected usable. So that is why my suggestion is to partner with www.fertilityfriend.com. they are the gold standard when it comes to cycle tracking for females. Not only is it extremely accurate but it takes a holistic approach to a womens cycle and offers a completely individualized cycle tracking experience.

Women are spending upwards of 250 dollars on fertility speciffic trackers like Ava and Ovusense and these products still have plenty of drawbacks such as reliability and terrible algorithms. And, as the the industry is only going growing,  how much more would women be willing to spend that money if they were not only getting a fertility tracker, but also all the amazing benefits that fitbit has to offer?  Especially since fitbit is far more geared to females than thier competitors, its very likely that most women already know and  love the fitbit brand and would gladly trust it with their female health data.

I have both a fitbit and an ava tracker, and like many i struggle to use both as both require the use of your non dominenet hand. And like many ava users, i hate the algorithms and interface the tracker uses. Our solution as ava users (and many ovusense users too) is to take the temperature data that Ava provides and input it into my fertility friend calendar. This provides the convenience of basal tracking while i sleep with the reliability of a trusted algorithm.

If you were to develop a tracker with a temperature  monitor and partner with fertility friend for thier unparalleled algorithms, you would not only be providing a unique all round tracker that could truly distinguish its self from competitors, but also you would have acess to the massive user base of fertility fertility friend who are all hungry for a device that syncs data with the most trusted fertility platform. All this in addition to cutting out all the work of the very important data translation side.

I would be happy to discuss this idea further at any time. Thank you

I need a new Fitbit right now and I’m also looking at Ava for fertility tracking. I can only afford one. If Fitbit partnered with Fertility Friend, the choice would be obvious.
