Password reset via Cellphone number -- Email password reset not sufficient

Lost the Password to my account and no longer have access to the email address used to create the account,  why did Fitbit not build in a secondary method for password reset for instance with cellphone number connected to the account?

Unbelievable from such a well established Company!
