Rearrange or customize Charge 3 & 4 apps/stats view/Today

I'd really like the ability to rearrange the built in apps on my Charge 3. The app I'll use most often is the Weather, which is on the last page! I have to swipe a bunch to get to it. The next one would be the timer app, which is on the second page. The most frustrating part is that on some of the help pages, the images show the apps in a different order! I've spent ages trying to figure out how to adjust it.

Hi @Kmama, thanks for explaining why you would like to have this option on Charge 3. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about here. Keep adding your suggestions!

Thank you Yojana for replying!!  This seems to be a hot topic for many Fitbit users, yet it feels like nothing is being done.

Can you, or someone else please explain why this is taking so long to be addressed?  Bottom-line, why is it so difficult to have the same technology on an "upgraded" product that was on an older model?  From a non-programmer perspective, this should be such an easy fix and would make quite a lot of people happy.  Not sure if Fitbit is paying attention, but they are losing quite a few customers because of this.

I recently switched to Fitbit from Garmin. What a shock to see my weight on the wristband every time I scroll through the tiles! I thought I must be doing something wrong, but now I see that others have the same problem. Please allow us to remove and rearrange the tiles.

Yes, I agree...

I just upgraded to the Charge 3 from the original Charge, and so far I am bitterly disappointed.

Basic stats and functions (that I bought the fitbit to use) are hidden behind screens and screens of cluttered junk, which gives the entire product a cheap and poorly designed feel, and frankly, makes me wish I'd never purchased it.

What would be so hard about giving control over to users? This, in addition to the intended-but-later-cancelled "Screen Time Out" feature gives me the impression some of these functions were deliberately removed, to drive customers towards more expensive options in the fitbit product line.

Boeing tried this same strategy 737 Max (AOA sensor mismatch warning light) and that did not work out so well for them. You would think people would learn that stiffing your customers is a pretty short-sighted business strategy, wouldn't you?

I really wanted my Fitbit Charge 3 to be a copy of my Fitbit Charge 2 but with the added ability to get wet and track swimming.

I want to be able to rearrange stats and remove apps that I don't use like I could on Charge 2. Luckily I didn't buy a Charge 3 until the clock faces from the Charge 2 were available or the 3 would have already gone back to the store. It may still go back if this functionality isn't added before my 90 day return period is up.

Might as well send it back. The company isn’t listening

What’s the status on this? Clearly many people are asking for it! Thanks!

I'm with the rest of the fitbit users. My charge 3 has just been updated and the dashboard is far worse than before. However the main problem is that I  still can't change the order of stats in the list.  Thanks to all the team for reading this.

I apologise for my ignorance, straight after the last post I discovered how to change the order of the list!

You don't what @jerimag?

If you want to arrange the tiles press edit.

You can then even remove or add tiles.

Under Charge 2, they were not called Apps, but the Charge 3 equivalents could be “hidden” or re-ordered. A feature should Not be removed from an “Upgraded” device. It should be enhanced. What makes FitBit great is it can be personalized. I would like this feature brought back. I personally don’t need to see Timers before Weather when I go outside to exercise. 😊 Thanks!

Bumping this issue. having this feature on Charge 2 and not on Charge 3 is going backwards.

This option was availible on the Fitbit Uno, Fitbit One, the Charge, Charge HR and several other models.

The Charge 2 came out without this option and the users had to fight for it. I would have thought Fitbit had learned there lesson and simply added the feature to customize.

Nope they decided to let us fight to get customization added to what they called Their most advanced tracker ever offered.

I'm aBitConfused why this has not happened. It seems like a simple change to me the needs of users.

What would be most outstanding is an option to make "heart rate" full screen as well.  This is vital for folks who need to continuously see their max heart rate during stringent aerobic workouts, particularly when a person get's older.  Thanks for considering this.

Ah that would be great but dont get your hope's up, they dont listen to us

Well they do monitor and listen but it's all about prioritizing changes.
And now with Google buying them, no doubt they are dealing with all sorts
of internal concerns and staffing issues.

Hey SCRUM MASTERS please once the smoke settles please put this on your
story board and pump out the sprints!

Love ya!

The Charge 2 has the ability to remove and rearrange apps; it's ridiculous that the Charge 3 does not. Instead of an upgrade, I feel like I have a downgrade. I'm also disappointed that so many customers have asked for this going one year back and still nothing. I'm going to return my Charge 3 and when my Charge 2 dies (screen is cracked in two places) I'll get a tracker from a company that listens to its customers.

Doing a search of this board and you will find numerous examples of Fitbit adding suggested features. We have noticed that many of these additions are not liked.. In any case Fitbit did not promise to add every suggestion

To me it is puzzling that Fitbit did not add this feature from day one of the charge 3 and why they have made us plead our case once more.

Let's hope as with the Charge 2, we had to request this, our suggestion to add editing of menus gets added.

Not sure whats going on with my phone, but it would appear I can’t like any posts atm!  I definitely had not heard Google was buying them!  I’ll have to Google that one.... heh
