Remove Completed Challenges from App

It would be great that when completed challenges are finished that you have the option to delete them off your app screen.

Would like it if we the users could change the sort order of the challenges view & have the option of removing completed challenges from our view. I want the most current challenges to be first on the list, not future challenges that haven't started. If a winner has been declared in a completed challenge, I don't need it to linger for so long in my view. Maybe having 3 sections at the top would be nice, could be "Current", "Completed", "Future".

still no way to delete completed challenges after 4 years - this is nuts and a symptom of fitbit lack of product management process

Please make an option to get rid of old challenges to free up space on the daily app screen

Just came here to agree. I want my old challenges to go away.

Or come up with a new space to manage all of your challenges. Not the main dashboard on the app.

Please allow users to delete challenges - active or completed - from their app dashboards. Having junk on my homescreen that I can't control makes me want to not even log in. I hate seeing these old, completed challenges cluttering up my screen. Also, make it easier to start a new challenge. Currently I can't start a challenge with a group of people of my choosing because of all the old challenges that I can't delete.

Hi @DeborahMW, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about having the option to delete the challenges that have already been completed, including your list of friends. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is currently under "Reviewed by moderator" status. This helps maintain the Community and the Feature Suggestion board more organized.

Thank you again for sharing your ideas!

This is a massive problem that yet hasn't been sorted or even considered since 2015. Please create an option to manually delete completed challenges it really isn't that hard to configure an algorithm to do this. It's basic application UI. Sort your stuff out or you'll end up having people leave fitbit for good.

Exactly! Simple dev stuff... I’m tired of their lip service. They need to simply do something about it. And with the reface of the app I can now see my completed challenges first thing for just as long. WTF are they thinking? Customer experience is **ahem**ty here... they don’t give a crap about the customer. I’ve stopped giving a crap about them. When my Charge3 dies we’ll see if they’ve listened to their customer feedback or not.

Yes!!!! I have 7 completed Goal Day challenges on my dashboard right now. Every day, I have to go into my edit dashboard settings and move the completed ones to the bottom of the list until they eventually fall off. It’s such a nuisance!

This must be fixed - it makes my Ionic useless.  Have reported this several times as have many others.  Has caused a number of people I was doing challenges with to leave Fitbit and move to other products.  Seems like Fitbit does not care about customers at all.

Please fix this, you can not sell this as a feature because this is clearly a bug!

1.Challenges should disappear (became inactive) from the dashboard after they expire or after a day or two when everyone is synced.

2. It would be nice if users could see all challenges maybe on computer dashboard.

3. And you should remove the limit of active challenger or at least make it bigger.

I don't know how is your code built but items 1 and 3 really should be hard to fix. It's a few lines of code and changes in few ifs...

This issue you can give to you new developers and it would be fixed and tested in less than a week.

I agree that challenges should go away sooner after completion. If you only have a few hours to update after challenge ends, it could then disappear a few hours later or, at the latest- midnight the following day. Challenges are one of the main features  for FB users!

Have an option to remove old challenges from the dashboard , the cluttering is extremely frustrating

We should be able to delete from the screen.  They just clutter it up, and won't let us start new challenges, even tho these are dead and done!   We should also be able to sort them.

The inability to delete old & completed challenges is ridiculous.   Listing old challenges at the top of the dashboard makes the app non-user friendly.   It appears this not just an annoyance to me but to a lot of users.  There are a lot of activity monitors available...just a thought.  Since this issue continues to be ignored by FitBit, we may need to consider other options.

A lot of times new challenges can't be started due to being maxed out. Evidently last week's challenges count toward that number. Can these be deleted faster?  I start some in yesterdays but this option disappears over the weekend and can only be shared.

Dear FitBit,

Can you please use the profits you made in Q4 of 2019 to pay your developpers to help us delete completed challenges, so we can start new ones? This is the ONLY reason to buy a FitBit watch over an Apple watch. Thank you. As a pro Apple user, I'm quickly losing interest.

Please let us delete old challenges once everyone has synced.  I can't start new challenges cause all the completed ones count towards my total active challenges.  Getting rid of the challenge limit would also be a good idea too

Challenges require us to wait 2 days in order to join a new one.  If you do several challenges with friends work week and weekend, you become unable to do weekend challenges because it takes 2 days to clear out finished work week challenges.  Large groups that coordinate 5 challenges will thank you.  We can't invite everyone to a weekend challenge, because the weekend is over before the work week clears.  Customer tech support advised me to put this suggestion here.

Hi @Theladyrenegade! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
