Sneaker mileage

Adding a way to track the mileage on different pairs of sneakers would be very helpful. So you can either sync the mileage from a run under a certain pair of shoes or being able to assign the run to shoes before initiating, with an ability to edit in the app would be awesome. It would be very helpful to those of us who use different pairs of running and workout shoes to keep track of when it might be time to replace!

I went 20k steps on Monday. My shoes are over-mileage and I now have shin splints.

If there was a way to be able to log which shoes I'm wearing and keep a total of the "mileage" on the shoes, I would better be able to determine when to buy a new pair. I didn't realize the shoes were that old until I searched for the purchase on my credit card. I have 4 different pairs of running shoes. It would help me to know how utilized each of them are and how close they are to replacement.

If implemented the right way, a partnership with Zappos or another shoe company would be able to be created so replacement shoes could be ordered straight from the app.
