The latest round of Fitbit devices provides all kinds of new metrics including SpO2, temperature, EDA stress level monitoring, breathing rate, etc. This data should be available in the WebAPI.
I will continue the call to make these variables available through the API, specifically EDA and stress measures. I run a wearable tech portal at a University. Groups are looking at using wearable technology to monitor workplace conditions, and will have to pass on using Fitbit's in their studies if these variables are not made available.
