Swimming laps

You guys should make a fitbit that you can swim in and does the heart rate tracks laps or distance swum

I understand that you can wear them for short periods of time in water but if you're swimming for a longer period of time they start to fritz

I would love it if you could create a Fit Bit that I could take swimming! I love to swim take aqua fit classes and it would be amazing if it could track my laps/movement/ and heart rate. If it could track my heart rate while under water that would be great, but if that's not an option then if it could track my heart rate while still in the pool but my arm out of the water, that would be helpful as well.

Hi @HeroKiKi! We now have a range of water-resistant trackers such as Flex 2 and Fitbit Ionic which are water-resistant up to 50 meters. They track the duration of your swim and the number of pool lengths you complete - learn more here. They don't currently measure heart rate underwater but feel free to post an additional request specifically around that if you would like.
