I want to be able to swipe from the left side of the screen (I have a Versa 2) in order to go back instead of having to push the button on the side. A swipe is much more intuitive. There's already the swipe from top and bottom gestures.
Hi @Danielpauleyca, and thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about having the option to swipe to go back on Versa 2. We rely on feedback like yours to help us develop products and features that we know our community wants to see. If this suggestion receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit. I feel the same! I constantly swipe from left before realising I have to push that button. It sound very stupid but having to turn my hand and having to use multiple fingers to push a button seems like unnecesairy.
I agree! Constantly having to hit a physical button is wasted movement. It may not seem like a lot but it really disrupts the flow. I would also add that Fitbit should allow you to flip the screen so whatever side you wear your watch you can have the button on a preferred side. I wear mine on my left wrist and if I could have the button on the right side of the watch would make using it much easier since I am already using my right index finger to swipe. All this seem like it should be a no brainer for the hardware and software designers.
The ability to easily READ the Charge4 screen while outdoors, the place where most fitness activities occur, is a total game changer. The battery life is unimportant if we cannot read the screen! We are used to charging our phones and other devices basically every day. A battery lasting 7 days with an unreadable screen is useless. I don't know if a FIRMWARE UPDATE is possible, but I never had such a problem with Garmin devices or the Apple Watch. Right now I have a fitness tracker whose information on its screen is a hassle to read.
