Swipe to Go Back

I want to be able to swipe from the left side of the screen (I have a Versa 2) in order to go back instead of having to push the button on the side. A swipe is much more intuitive. There's already the swipe from top and bottom gestures.

I feel the same! I constantly swipe from left before realising I have to push that button. It sound very stupid but having to turn my hand and having to use multiple fingers to push a button seems like unnecesairy.

Please add this feature. For Inspire HR as well.

Pressing the button all the time also contributes to wear and tear

I need this, please. It is very annoying.

I agree! Constantly having to hit a physical button is wasted movement. It may not seem like a lot but it really disrupts the flow. I would also add that Fitbit should allow you to flip the screen so whatever side you wear your watch you can have the button on a preferred side. I wear mine on my left wrist and if I could have the button on the right side of the watch would make using it much easier since I am already using my right index finger to swipe.  All this seem like it should be a no brainer for the hardware and software designers.

The ability to easily READ the Charge4 screen while outdoors, the place where most fitness activities occur, is a total game changer.  The battery life is unimportant if we cannot read the screen!  We are used to charging our phones and other devices basically every day.  A battery lasting 7 days with an unreadable screen is useless.  I don't know if a FIRMWARE UPDATE is possible, but I never had such a problem with Garmin devices or the Apple Watch.  Right now I have a fitness tracker whose information on its screen is a hassle to read.
