Threaded Messaging

Taunting, Cheering and messaging within the app is fun, however only being able to see my friends messages to me and not my responses, makes the banter much less entertaining. Almost all IM, SMS, Skype and chat programs allow the user to see the entire conversation (both sides of it). Please Fix the Chat to show the full conversation!

It would seem that I'm having the same issue as a lot of people ie only able to see incoming messages and not see my sent messages. looking at this message board it looks like the issue was raised with Fitbit years ago so I cannot understand why this has not yet been resolved.

Your product is expensive - I don't mind paying extra for quality but this definitely isn't quality if it takes you so long to resolve issues raised by your customers.

I would also like to suggest that you make it easier to see who has cheered on the challenges - the icon is so small it is virtually impossible to tell.

I second the threaded messsaging! If I get a reply from someone it would be nice to know what the heck I said in the first place. Lol! Sometimes my memory is bad especially when it's been a few days. I love the option of messaging but without seeing the whole thread it's kind of silly.

This has been requested for over 3 years. As demonstrated by many other apps, this is not rocket science. If hardware is your only strong suit, please hire someone who knows how to write messaging software NOW to implement threaded messaging for us Fitbit users.

Threaded view sounds like a great idea! I would like to see messages I send to friends along with messages they send me.

Agreed. When I first started using the app, I sent the same message multiple times because I didn't know it had gone through when I sent it. This is reinforced by the fact that the color of the send text is so light that it looks like it is grayed out. I thought there was a bug disabling my ability to send messages. Definitely a UI/UX problem. 

Also, I'm using the Charge 2, so this post should probably be modified so that it isn't tagged as being specific to the Flex 2. It's an issue with the mobile app across all Fitbits.

To me it looks like "under consideration" is another way of saying they're
really not even thinking about working on it.

I heard it was a platform issue. Whatever code Fitbit is written in doesn't support it, so it can't ever be done unless they literally started from scratch with different platform. That's the rumor anyway.

Seriously!!!!  Fitbit I LOVE you but the messaging!!!!  Now that you've got the ability to connect with groups and "meet" new people would be so nice to have a private messaging where you can see what you've sent. (Hey I've had 4 kids... I can't remember what I ate for breakfast let alone what I commented 3 days ago!) Please get on this. It's been several YEARS now!!!

How long has this been under consideration? It's something the community needs and wants, surely it's not too difficult to incorporate
