Turn Touch Screen Off (Button-only mode)

It would be great to be able to decide whether or not to have the touchscreen mode on (similarly to what touchscreen laptops tend to have), and to be able to choose between use of the button only and the touchscreen.

I have just bought a Charge 3 but am actually contemplating on returning this as I want the tracker to keep tracking without consuming of my energy and I found Charge 2 with a button only way simpler to manage (without lags!)

Hello @Duracell94.

Thanks for sharing that idea. I am sure that some users would definitely appreciate being able to have a button only mode on their Fitbit.

Let's see what other users have to say about it.

I would love this feature.  I have a Versa, and was surprised this isn't a real feature.  You can turn off the automatic screen wake, but it doesn't work.  I was at the theater and had turned it off so as not to annoy other patrons.  Every time I applauded, the screen turned on anyway.  I had to take my watch off and put it in my pocket.

Same here.

I just swapped my Ionic for a Versa 3. In many situations the touch screen gets triggered on my Versa 3 and starts to go through the menus. The Ionic disables the touch screen when Sleep Mode is activated. This was an easy workaround to disable the touch screen. I really would like to have a way to disable the touch screen on the Versa 3.
