Turn off quick view when I'm sleeping (or at customizable times) aka 'Night Mode'

I love the quick view feature however when I'm sleeping I tend to wave my arms around which activates the display which sometimes wakes me up, especially if my wrist is close to my face.

My fitbit knows when I'm sleeping as it tracks my sleep so how about having the capability to disable quick view automatically whilst I'm sleeping, in fact don't even have it as a selectable option just don't trigger quick view when my fitbit knows I'm sleeping.

Or give user the ability to make "quick view" only work during user adjustable times

I agree. Give the user the ability to schedule quick view!

I completely agree with the previous comments. If not automatic, at least make it possible to set the time when user needs it.

Completely agree, having moved from a Blaze (which does have this feature) to the Charge 2.

Rather impossible to read screen in sunlight wearing sun glasses...an adjustable screen brightness control, like the iPhone, would be a great addition when needed.

I just checked, the blaze does not have an auto feature to do this, it does however have the ability to turn quick view off either through the watch itself, the web, or the App.. The Charge 2's quick view may also be turned off from the web or the app.. Then a sync is needed.

You right need to be able to turn off the auto mode of brite screen when we sleep and other thing to be able to brite the screen during the day we almost need glasses to see the screen in the day time is super dim I return my Fitbit surge 250$ I fell sorry I got really annoyed to not see the screen display super dim the plastic display is dark and some people have vision problem you right need improvement to have a better ratting also the battery span to be able to last a busy person don't have that much time to stay attach to plug and loose interest using it I did use it for few months mine and I lost interest being attach to much to plug forgot about it
I like to find something better and I will buy it until than I wait

Any news on this?

I think a night time schedule would be great.  Turning the quick view off between set user defined times - a weekday and weekend schedule would be great.  Maybe with an override by pressing the button if you want to view the time during the night.

Or a completely blank black clock face option that comes on at set times?

Does anybody ever answer these posts? I'm new to this and only here bc the dang thing wakes me up all the time. I've found that I toss and turn a lot so it's always lighting up.

Nope, not that I've noticed. Seems we're just talking to each other, not
the Fitibt Powers-That-Be.

I'm looking for this feature as well.

I noticed the Charge 2 is less sensitive at night, but it still wakes me up when I'm trying to fall asleep. I'd love to be able to disable this feature between 22:00 and 08:00, for example.

I'd love to disable this feature between 22:00 and 8:00. It's especially annoying when I'm trying to fall asleep and I don't want to wake up me or my girlfriend.

I did turn off the quick view. But it still light up like anyways. Please update an option to put it in sleep mode.

I also have turned off the quick view on my Charge 2, but it still lights up the bedroom at night if i bump it etc.  Maybe a setting to disable the screen between certain hours.. OR the ability to choose brightness level?

YES, THIS, FITBIT!! I created an account I the forums just to be able to request this feature. My Fitbit Charge 2 actually DISRUPTS my (and my wife's) sleep pattern with quick view on. It's a huge pain and it would not be difficult to include a feature that disables quick view after certain hours. Make it happen, Fitbit team!!

Need a dimming feature on charge 2 for sleep time. It is so bright if I accidentally bump it that it wakes us up.

+1 would be great if I could set a schedule that enables and disables the automatic quick view. It really is ridiculously bright at night. Great during the day though.
