Describe features included and excluded on Fitbit product specs

I just learned my Fitbit Luxe and a few others do not register stairs. I had been resetting and checking help forums to see why my stair climbing was not being logged. I finally reached out to the help chat and was told my luxe don’t register stairs. I checked the luxe description and there is no mention of this. Very frustrating

Hi @AlmostThere7  the sales information for the Luxe has no mention of counting stairs. click to read.

Specifications of the device can be found in the user manual - click to see. There is no mention of an altimeter.

Can you return it?

Correct, there is no mention of stairs but every tracker I’ve ever had kept track of stairs. Fitbit even has badges for climbing stairs but several types of Fitbits don’t track stairs.
I’m sure there are many other people who want an accurate accounting of all exercise so it would be nice if the Luxe product description was updated.

Sadly, I am not able to return or exchange my Fitbit Luxe.

thank you for the response
