I recently upgraded from an IPhone 6 to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I really like the ease and organization of the Windows and IOS (newer upgraded) dashboard. Having the Android dashboard integrated like both of them would be super awesome. I know my device is new and needs a little time so I'm not going to be bitter about it. I have faith in you guys! Just keep us android users in mind too. 😉
I agree. I like how the iOS app/dashboard matches the web interface/online dashboard. It seems like Fitbit (along with most companies) are still thinking of Android as second class citizens, like we aren't as important as iOS users.
I also switched from an Iphone to the Galaxy S7, and I love it. First app I downloaded was the fitbit app and saw the "old" dashboard. It would be great if us android uses also had access to the new one!!!
When will the new dashboard be coming to Android, it looks brilliant and seems unfair to restrict it to iPhone users when so many people have Android devices.
I agree with all the comments. I have an Ipod and love the new dashboard. I was excited when I got my new phone a Galaxy s7 and looked forward to seeing the new dashboard. When will it come out for the android? Thanks!
Android accounts for more than iOS and Windows mobile users combined. The fragmentation excuse that has been used by lazy developers in the past is no longer relevant. This is just unacceptable.
Same issue here: had just switched from iOS to Android and really miss the new dashboard design. Please update the dashboard or at least provide an option to use both new and old interfaces. Thanks
They are not ignoring you, @Lizspeak, currently the dashboard is being tested in the beta app, of which I'm using it. This also means I'm helping Fitbit get the bugs out.
Hey everyone! If you are all interested the new app for Android has the preview of the new Dashboard! Feel free to update and check this new Dashboard on your app! Check the screenshot below (taken from a Moto G 2nd gen. running official Marshmallow release):
