View SpO2 % in app and don't require SpO2 clock face selection during sleep to capture %

The SpO2 clock face has to be selected during sleep to view actual SpO2 % range and avg value in morning. Devices that support SpO2 DO collect the data since it shows up on a sleep graph. It's just the value doesn't appear. This is such a silly implementation. Just show the value in the app and clock face regardless of the clock face during sleep.

Do you think that Fitbit actually cares about these votes? If so, the SPO2
issues would have been properly dealt a year or two ago or more.

This is 100% needed.

Why can't I vote for this?

Don't you think that they know that? We just don't know why they don't let
us have it.

You can't vote for it because it's already been implemented. At least for the newer trackers. Unfortunately, it's part of the "premium" service, so it's going away for people who don't want to pay extra after the trial period expires.

Basic members can see SPo2 in the Health Metrics dashboard now too. The only difference is that Premium members can see a full month of data, whereas basic members can only see 1 week. Really glad Fitbit decided to make these basic metrics available to everyone.

Where exactly can we see our SPO2 data? Where is this Health Metrics
dashboard located? Web site, phone? I assume it is is only if the great
Fitbit god decided you were actually sleeping? I say that because once
again, after complete resets and more, my Versa stopped logging sleep a
week ago, confirmed by my suddenly much better (it wasn't bad) battery
life. I guess if Versa decides that you are not sleeping, it disables SPO2
samping.

Just go to the app and click Edit. You might have to add Health Metrics to your page.

The page that tells you steps, miles, etc? Same one that for a week has
reminded me to wear my Fitbit to bed. Ah. That semi functional page.
With no way to know from it how Fitbit decided that I have not been
sleeping. I email support, but in actuality they have a scripted loop they
go through that whenever you as them a question they go back to the first
generic troubleshooting step.

I’m premium and the chat person told me to come here and post a request for it otherwise I would have to change the clock face.

@TheDougBeck  Fitbit support has literally no knowledge about fitbit products. As long as you have the latest firmware and a recent device, you should be able to install the spo2 app and view last night's data in health metrics in the app on your phone.

How do I check the firmware?

Go to settings on your watch. Scroll to About. Where it says Version, that's your firmware

Marob

So, I got the Premium version of Fitbit. It's no better than the free version. You still have to wear the SpO2 clock face to bed, and the only info it gives you is the same info that you get for free. USELESS.

@_pauls I haven't changed my clock face to the SPo2 clock face since my watch was updated to version .4.17, and I get SPo2 readings every morning. Maybe you weren't on the latest firmware update last time you tried without the clock face?

Thanks Strider - my post was before they released the updated firmware. As
soon as that was released it worked fine!

@Marob you don't need the clock face at all with premium, you can see the Sp02 data under health metrics in the app.

AddyRazz

@pbug56 the health metrics is within the app, pretty easy to find.

Tell me what good is this information? This is all that health metrics shows. Worthless.

@Marob what more is there to know regarding Sp02?

Marob
Recovery Runner

Like heart rate, I want to know what my SpO2 is at any particular time. Showing an average means nothing.  I want to know when it is low so that I can relate the low rate to my sleep pattern, heart rate, or breathing pattern.

@Marob...I suggest you go and buy an apple watch. You are obviously not satisfied with Fibit although thousands are.

@SunsetRunner happy with mine also, I think the Sense is awesome!

I wish I had never posted this. From my view Fitbit has resolved my
issue. I no longer have to have an sPO watch face to collects stats and
Fitbit provides me 1 week of data for free. But you all keep nitpicking
and complaining. Open your own post and stop using mine. Please. --

You seem to think I'm made of money. If Fitbit wants to add a feature like SpO2, they ought to make it work correctly. As I said earlier, even some of the $49.00 watches on Amazon will give you an instant SpO2 reading. Just saying.
