Weekly Report: Add Active Minutes

I propose to add active minutes summary in Fitbit weekly Report.

I would like my Very Active Minutes (total, average) included in my weekly progress report email (Fitbit Stats).  To me, it is actually of greater interest than the number of steps. I assume there is not a way to customize that report to include this information already (?).

My wife and I both have Zips. My dashboard shows how many Very Active Minutes that I had. However, when I get my weekly report, I do not get that information. Is there a way to add this?

If it cannot be added, it would be a very nice component to include.

There is no way to customize your weekly progress report, but we appreciate the feedback on adding your total and average active minutes counts to this email.

I would like active minutes to be included in the weekly progress email - at the moment I'm having to tot them up myself each week!

hilaryjane0 - I recently found that on the fitbit phone app - if you go to the dashboard and select the active minutes arrow, it takes you to a page the summarizes the weekly total and shows the number of active minutes each day.  Would still be nice to have it in the email, but at least you don't have to total it yourself!

This is a great idea. I noticed that active minutes are not included on the weekly reports. I think this is something that can be implemented easily, so hopefully we will see our total active minutes on future weekly reports. Thanks for your suggestion, let's keep voting for this.

It will be useful to include Total Active Minutes in the weekly progress report from Fitbit. This will help achieve the target suggested by the CDC for the number of active minutes per day/week.

I'd love an option to make active minutes, not steps, the focus of my weekly progress report. I bike a lot and it's very discouraging to see a very active week (with 2+ hours of active minutes five days) and then have my step metrics (which are very weak) be the thing that's focused on! (I also would like more encouragement to meet my active minutes instead of steps, e.g., instead of that end-of-day reminder to get more steps in, have a similar one for active minutes.)

I appreciate that you track active minutes, but it would be great if I could get a weekly count of moderate and vigorous exercise broken out. I was looking it up and I’m supposed to get 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise. I’d like to see both in the app.

Hi @Lstach! Great suggestion. I've moved it into a similar request. I think that a lot of users will love to have this option. Keep sharing your suggestions.

Agree! I’d also like to have a weekly active minutes goal to align with recommendations from the American Heart Association, Centers for Disease Control, and World Health Organization.
