YouTube Music App

It's been almost a month now and a huge product like the Fitbit has only a couple of apps, and one music app. So I was hoping you guys can add the YouTube Music app, since it allows access to a huge selection of music videos and audios. Also the app have 100 song downloaded for offline use. It chooses them based on your taste and updates them every now and then.

I just wanted to add my voice to this request, I am pretty certain that Santa is bringing me a Fitbit Sense for christmas.  I am also a YT premium subscriber, so a YT music app where you could download music to the Sense would make the watch much more complete!  Right now there is no way to run, listen to music, and get GPS data without bringing your phone along unless you subscribe to the really mediocre music choices currently available. Seems like a real Spotify app would kind of be a no-brainer as well. I have read literally every review of the Sense and this is the largest ding against it in every review, and one of the easiest things for Fitbit to fix on this watch. Especially now that Fitbit is a google company, seems like it would be a pretty trivial task to get this up and running asap.

As someone who uses google home and YouTube music premium, having a YouTube music app on the Fitbit would be so great.  Right now, I'm still using my phone as my source of music when I'm running, which is a bummer, I'd love to be able to hit my watch to play the next song instead of fumbling with my phone while running.

With assistant now on fitbit, I'm hoping we see YTmusic happen!

Since Fitbit is now a google company I think it's a matter of time for getting the youtube music AP for fitbit compatible devices. But please fitbit team let us know that you are working on this. I only pay for 1 music service (google play music now youtube music) and it's frustating that the only music app for my Versa3 is Spotify. It would be great to hear something from you guys. thanks.

@alexpardox  "Since Fitbit is now a google company" - Can you post link for this statement? I really hope that Google buys Fitbit but I'm afraid that EU don't approve it. I can't find anywhere that this deal is done...

@ohynek   the news are from 2019,  since then the process is still running so it's not 100% confirmed yet, but they are close to confirm it:

Hi! Is there any chance I can use YouTube Music on the watch Charge 4 like how it works for Spotify.

I am surprised to find my google compatible smart watch doesn't support youtube music, the google music streaming app. I already have a family subscription I won't use another subscription service for my music. It makes sense to let people choose which music app to connect to their fitbit.

Please add because I'm considering changing back to the Versa 2, in which you would lose money by me returning my Sense because of this and not downloadable music. Really need a watch with GPS and download able music. Ionic was the only option but didn't let you answer calls... Really need all three, please give us an update on when this might happen in the USA?

I agree 100%!!! We've subscribed to Google Music for at least five years and now that it has migrated to YouTube Music, I'd love to have the app on my FitBit. I'm not going to change my entire family musoc account to Spotify just for my FitBit...ita not fair to the rest of my family who prefer YTMusic....and I'm certainly not going to pay for two subscriptions. I wish I had known this before I bought a FitBit. I will be sure to tell anyone considering smart watch to think about this.

Yes please. I'm very surprised it's not on already tbh as I was able to control YouTube from my old garmin and that was 2 years old.

Agree that this is necessary, I also only pay for one music streaming service and it would make sense that the one owned by fitbits parent company would be supported.

PLEASE, add YouTube Music. I'm so disappointed that my Sense does not have an app for YouTube Music (and no option to download music directly). Pointless that there is onboard GPS, so technically, I don't need my phone. However, if I want to listen to my YouTube music premium, I need to bring my phone anyway. Please just add the app...
