YouTube Music App

It's been almost a month now and a huge product like the Fitbit has only a couple of apps, and one music app. So I was hoping you guys can add the YouTube Music app, since it allows access to a huge selection of music videos and audios. Also the app have 100 song downloaded for offline use. It chooses them based on your taste and updates them every now and then.

I just bought the charge 6 and YOU TUBE MUSIC  is preinstalled.  I wasted hours trying to sync it with my phone, then finding out it there is no free version.  I've uninstalled it, but wish I could use a free version of it, Pandora, or Sirius XM.     To uninstall, you must have the Fitbit app, find your watch,   then at the top you will see charge 6/clocks/apps.  you can uninstall from apps.

I'd like to see more choices for apps.  Apple dominates the machines at the gym, My Fitbit  C6 did sync,, but left me wondering if an Apple watch was better.

The YouTube Music app was added to the new models and I do have the premium subscription, but if I'm not mistaking it still doesn't allow you to keep offline playlists so when running I would still need my cell phone with me. It's a step in the good direction, but still doesn't help me to be honest.

Exactly. The add on Fitbit site shows a woman running to YouTube

It doesn't show her holding a phone. You have to go 4 pages deep to find
control only. Another scam!

As a runner, the remote control isn't really an added value. Most of us can control their music with a headset/earpods. We just want to run without our phone with us, so as long as YT Music offline playlists aren't supported, Fitbit is not a right fit.

Wait a second. When you saw the ad of the lady on Fibit running while enjoying her tunes on youtube music you serious can tell me you didn't see the obvious ??  She had her security running with her, holding her phone. I don't know what third world you come from, but where I live, we all have people that run with us, to hold our phones.  I am having someone typing this reply right now.. Isn't that how the world works!!! 🙂
