"Do Not Disturb" for the range

Sorry, FitBit, but including "Do Not Disturb" on your newest, highest priced model does not mean that feature has been "released", as you have tagged and locked multiple suggestions with thousands of upvotes.

I love my Charge 2, but I really don't like getting buzzed for texts at 4am because of time differences. When we're trying to sleep, neither I nor my wife like a light going off right at eye level because one of us rolled over.

Perhaps there's a technical reason that the Blaze, Charge 2, and Altas can't support this feature.  It seems easy to me, but if there is some limitation, please explain it.  Until you do I've little choice but to assume it's an effort to push users upmarket, which is a tactic Fitbit has usually been blessedly resistant to.

Both the Charge 2 and Blaze currently have a DND mode.

With the charge 2, since the second firmware, simply hold in the button while viewing the watch.

With the Blaze, since released, swipe down while viewing the watch and turn of notifications.. Holding in the top right button will get you to the same screen.

Has anyone else been woken by a notification going to your fitbit as you were dozing off? Or by one hitting your device in the wee hours of the morning, much sooner than you wake up?

I propose the addition of "Sleep Mode", which would stop notifications from coming to your device while you are asleep (since it can tell when you are sleeping). It would stay like this until either your silent alarm went off or you reached your sleep goal, whichever came first.

Just a friendly suggestion

Thanks very much, Rich!

Not only am I glad to have this feature, but it increases my faith in FitBit's commitment to continually improving the whole platform.  In this case I'm happy to be embarrassingly wrong.

You can turn off notifications any time on Charge 2 and Blaze, as described here:

Thank you, but I am already aware of that. What I am proposing is an automatic function that stops notifications when it starts tracking sleep, and automatically turning them back on when either your silent alarm goes off or you have reached your set sleep goal on the app.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings.

As explained by @Rich_Laue this feature already exists. This is what his post said:
