Animated png?

I seem to have come upon an example that had a animated png in it. Though I do not remember which example that was from a lot of examples I’ve been looking at. 

I tried loading up a apng but it does not animate on the watch. It’s just the first frame. 

I’ve tried to search the forum and also the documentation but I’m not seeing anything. The only animation i see documented is just shapes and text animations?

The watch can't animate APNGs, although you can change the href of an <image> to achieve a similar effect.
