App running in the background

when i leave the app's interface, app don't running. how i can sove it? I see https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/device-api/events/ and https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/device-api/events/ ,but i don't which is useful and how to use it.

Checking if Fitbit supports background activity now? IF not then any plan for future support ?

I want to read Accelerometer API data on some specific time interval irrespective of app running or not. So how is that possible?

Fitbit app could not run in background. 

If I would like to process my Fitbit app in background to collect accelerometer and gyroscope data continuously, what can I do ?

Is there an update on when this will be available? Or is it ever going to made available? I really wanted to upgrade from my pebble 2 to the versa, but its lacking in a lot.
