Did you mean:

Block screen blank before screen timeout

Is there away to stop the screen blanking, from being covered or wrist lowered before the display timeout has been reached?

Poke() will wake the screen which will remain on normally till the timeout is reached.

However lowering your wrist or covering the screen will turn the screen off prematurely.

Once the first Timeout period has elapsed with the screen on, it is possible to gain control in the display off processing and subsequently doesn't blank anymore.

It may be a bug.
