Burned Calorie in Fitbit

Hi everyone, 

Hoping all of u in good health.

I've noticed this with my Fitbit versa 3 when I walk 500 steps it shows me 490 calories were burned while in other smartwatches like Apple or Xiaomi, they show 70-80 burned calorie with the range of the same steps, so how Fitbit does measure the burned calorie? what is the algorithm for this measurement?
