Where do I find, is there a list of coding suggestions to create a new clock face.

You can start a new project in Studio which is a sample clock. There are other samples to choose from.

As Guy_ said, use Fitbit Studio to start a project and select Clock which will give you a very basic outline to get started.  If you go to: https://github.com/Fitbit/ossapps you can also see some further examples that might be useful to explore.
