Hi!
I'm using Fitbit Versa 2 for a research project and the goal is to have real time health data such as heart rate sent from Fitbit to Raspberry Pi/Jetson Nano with Ubuntu OS. It seems that real time data retrieval must go through the companion app and I've read about using wine to install Fitbit simulator on Ubuntu here. I'm wondering if there is a way to set up the companion app on Ubuntu as well.
If not, is there any other way to avoid using a separate device for running the companion app?
The reason I'm asking this is that there are going to be multiple Fitbit-Raspberry Pi pairs, having a phone or Windows laptop for each pair is just not very feasible😢. Would appreciate any suggestions!
