Hey, I'm trying to create a custom watch face for my new Charge 5 device, as default watch faces are just HORRIBLE! but it's not about that...
I was following the guide here - https://dev.fitbit.com/getting-started/#get-ready- it says after accepting T&C's (which doesn't show up after logging in to Fitbit Studio) I should be able to access the Developer menu within Fitbit app, however I can't see it, even though I can create an app within Fitbit Studio webpage. How can I make sure I get the Developer Bridge menu within an app? Please advice. Thanks!

Charge 5 can't be used with Fitbit Studio or the SDK. It can only run the software buit into its firmware.

Is there any reason why they don't allow developers build custom watch faces? Any plans on adding Charge 5 to Fitbit Studio anytime soon?

Charge 5 is categorised as a tracker rather than a smartwatch, so I don't think it's got the internal stuff (hardware, firmware, API, operating system, etc) required to allow the installation of apps/clockfaces. It can probably only run the software contained within its firmware.

Got it! Thanks for your reply. It's a shame they made these watchfaces thinking its a smartwatch rather than a fitness tracker.. 😞
