I have an idea for an app for the fitbit versa. I cant find it in the app gallery so I thought I would make one though I have no programming experience.

I was wondering if there was a book that could teach me how to create an app for FitBit Versa.

I doubt that there's a book, but there's an on-line course here. I wouldn't worry too much about references to Ionic; the principles are the same for Versa.

Fitbit's official documentation is pretty good; you might be able to make do with that.

Neither of those is going to teach you the nuts and bolts of the languages used (javascript, CSS, SVG, React).

You can search for Java lessons on YouTube, I think you can find a lot of interesting info there.

Be careful: Java and JavaScript are different languages. Fitbit OS runs JavaScript.

And if you have a better perception of printed information, like me, you can choose textbooks here https://yourcoursetextbook.com. I often find really good textbooks at this source. It is especially pleasing that you do not have to spend money on printed textbooks for college. Don't think I'm greedy. I'm happy to pay for a good textbook, but not all of our program was really useful to me. I feel sure that the most important thing is to get knowledge of the subject.
