Enabling Developer Bridge in Mobile App

ANSWERED

Where is the setting in the Fitbit android app to enable the developer bridge? Fitbit Studio can connect to my Ionic just fine, but not my phone. I've looked all throughout the app and I'm stumped. I am running the 27.30.5.8 on my Ionic and have the latest mobile app version as well.

Assuming:

1. All these steps have been followed (quintuple checked).

2. Fitbit Device is a Charge 2;

Questions:

1. Is Developer Bridge supported in Charge 2 and if so, is it the same procedure that you have listed?

2. Assuming that this does work, and perhaps just for posterity, where specifically in the mobile app should one expect to see the Developer Bridge? - Under Profile? Under Account? Is this an entirely new menu somewhere?

Thank you.

Developer access (eg, Fitbit Studio) is only for Fitbit OS devices (currently Ionic and Versa).

All you can use for Charge 2 is the Web API.

I found it!  In the app, go to the watch settings, and look for "developer".

What is the Fitbit versa developer menu? What will it do if I enable it?

Does this mean it does not work for Inspire HR and I need to use Web API for that as well?

Yes. Device API requires a Fitbit OS watch (Ionic or Versa series).

Is this also true for the Charge 4?

Charge 4 doesn't have a developer bridge or SDK or Device API; you can only use the Web API with it.

Is that also true for Charge 5? I notice there are no simulators for Charge 5. I was also in the middle of following the top suggestion for getting the developer options to show up in the app and realized I created this account with my google auth, but the app doesn't support that so when I set it up I had to create an actual fitbit account... Which means now I'll have two different developer accounts in a few minutes I guess =(
