GAM Publishing Update

We’ve just published an update to GAM that provides developers with a few updates relating to how multiple device support is handled.

The first change is a simpler way to manage App Gallery screenshots, by device family.

Developers can now provide a common set of images which will be used for all devices within the same device family. There is no need to upload identical screenshots for Versa and Versa Lite if they have the same functionality and design. Developers should upload device specific screenshots if the functionality or design of your app is different on each device, for example displaying the Floors count is not valid for Versa Lite.

We have also changed the review process so if a build is uploaded with a support for a new device, the developer must add screenshots, either family common or device specific, before the app can be submitted for review.

Good decision for handling the screenshots now. Are there any plans to show the numbers of downloads of an app/clock face. This would be very interesting in my opinion.

Nice. Could you please fix the CSS so you can zoom and swipe scroll on mobile? Currently, the page is cut off and can’t horizontally scroll on mobile. I want to be able to make updates available as soon as they’re approved. 😃

I've asked them to remove the meta viewport tag which should allow this to work.
