GPS Data Sent to Third party server

Hello, 

 

I'm currently developing a project that requires GPS locations to be sent to our server via REST API, I need to know how can I push these data from Fitbit Ionic to our server all the time even if the user doesn't run exercise tracking.

 

Is there any way to do that by developing Fitbit Ionic application or can we pull these GPS data from Fitbit same as heart rate data?

If the GPS isn't being used their wouldn't be any data...

Is it possible to design an app that runs in the background to keep pushing the data to the server?
