How to achieve the selected item with translucent rectangle on Tumbler view?

Hi! I'm curious if anyone has experience with the Tumbler View in how the selected item visual could be achieved? -- i.e. the translucent rounded rectangle displayed on the initial load/display of the view and after the swipe has settled (screenshot attached) -- is it built into the widget or would one approach be to overlay a rounded image?

I use two circles and a rect to create this shape, usually as a symbol for easy reuse, but adding transparency will spoil the effect by showing the normally hidden edges. I don't know what the tumbler view uses.

Thank you, you're right, I did try this approach and had the same issue when applying opacity. I also tried setting the layer order to the same level, and also masking, wasn't able to get a desired result.

I haven't tried a 8-bit PNG yet, will have another tinker with it to see if I can get a similar effect.
