Dear Fitbit. Your devices are pretty and I would love to keep the one I just purchased. However, I was informed that some "upgrade" takes may option to NOT connect it to a cellphone away. I will return my pretty new watch and buy another product. If you are interested in me as a client, please let me know when you have a product that does not force me to use it with my phone. Thank you much.

Hi @99199 which Fitbit did you buy? You can set up with a computer, but there are some devices which need a smartphone to set up. You can't do challenges without a smartphone, but you might not want to do those.
