Marquee working in simulator but not on Ionic device

I'm trying to use the marquee control and it is working fine in the simulator (for either Ionic or Versa) but when running on my Ionic device the control doesn't appear at all. (I'm sure it was working at some point but now it isn't.)

Ok, I've narrowed down the problem here. I am using a transform on a <g> element containing the marquee to apply rotation. This works fine in the simulator but not on the Ionic device. If I remove the rotation transform on the <g> tag, then the marquee shows up. Bummer, I liked the rotated marquee.

@JonFitbit I just tried this again on latest SDK, and it still doesn't work on Ionic (but does on simulator).
