If you're having issues with images flickering within your clock or app, try adding this to the <image> tag:

What kind of flickering does this help with? Does it preload images and does it make any difference if you have image tags that you change href on later?

 

I have noticed there can be an ever so slight delay when loading new images (e.g. changing digits in seconds display) but it seems to disappear once all digits has been loaded once. It can be perceived as flickering though.
