Is Fitbit SDK still actively developing/supported?

I noticed create-fitbit-app received its last update more than a year ago. I checked some of the other OSS projects of Fitbit, and it looks like they are also not evolving. The latest commits are automatic Dependency Bot commits.

I was going to create a clock face, but I am not sure if it is a good idea, considering the development ecosystem is not developed anymore.

Was there a specific feature you needed for create-fitbit-app, or were you using that as an example? The last major SDK release was in Sept 2020, but there are other things in the pipeline.
