Is it possible to compare the footprints of different approaches?

Hi guys, I'm working on a widget in TS. It's calculating regular polygons.
For changing the size dynamically I could change the radius, which results in a call of my recalc(), or I could use groupTransform.scale, which doesn't call my function, but guess does similar.
Now I wonder which way might be more efficient and if/how I could find out.
Thanks in advance for any ideas 🙂
