Is it possible to set the step count to a value, or zero, in the emulator

ANSWERED

Hi,

I can see that I can set the value various sensors, battery level etc, but is there a way of resetting the step count to a value, or even zero, so I can test a watch face?

Many thanks

Ian

Hi @IanV66 - you may be able to do it.

Uninstall the clock, close the simulator, restart and load the clock face.

Unfortunately no. To test, you have to put fake values in your JS code (which can be derived from battery or heart-rate if you want to get fancy).

Don't forget to take testing code out before publishing!

...and you can test this way??? 🤔
Just test if it shows different values on reload?

I like the battery idea most, so one can just play with the slider

Can do same with heart rate.

Uninstalling and restarting the emulator works like a charm.
