Is there a simulator or an emulator to start development without a Fitbit Ionic?

From my point of view emulator is very important. I live in Europe and buying from US is both expensive and may cause trouble with customs.
I'm always figuring out new technology using emulator and if I find it interesting I go to buy device (and pray to get it working and in viable time).

I would love to see this soon. I enjoy programming and have been full time developing for over 25 years... as much as I like side loading completed projects, I prefer debugging without having to worry about the device and potentially having to hard reset while working out any bugs and design issues. An emulator would also provide more access to programmers who have skills to develop but not necessarily an extra $300 to buy the device to build on. So please... an emulator in the studio without having to have a device connected would be swell.
