Question regarding permission agreement

Hello, I am currently testing my FitBit application on several devices. My app sends sensor readings to a server, among other things.Thus, I need internet permission.

I have found that some phones allow me to accept permissions through the Fitbit app when installing my own, and to later reject or change this permission settings. Other phones do not show these options, for example in Xiaomi Poco. Is there any way to accept permissions for my app in those cases?

There's an intermittent error at the moment whereby the installation process 'completes' before asking for permissions. In other cases, permissions can disappear after installation. I've never heard these problems to be associated with specific types of phone, although that's certainly possible. The workaround is usually to uninstall and reinstall. Try that, to verify whether the problem you're seeing is phone-specific.
