Real time heart rate data

Hi, I working on a research project and I need to obtain real time heart rate data from my Fitbit sense using device APIs. I am trying to connect to my fitbit but i am not quite sure how to do this, I have done it before using the web API but of course, this does not give me real time heart rate data. How should I go about this? Is it the same process as with using the web API?

You can't do it with Sense 2/Versa 4. There is probably a way of doing it on the original Sense but also rather indirect (probably broadcasting from the Fitbit on-device app into some proxy companion app or into a web service). If it was trivial, we'd see apps that could do it already (and for example, broadcast HR from Fitbit device onto other receivers) so it may be more complex. Definitely, the HR won't be real-time.

Hello @Geelss and welcome to the Community.  I'm moving your post to the Web API development forum.  This forum is aimed at users with device issues.

This is actually a SDK API question. There are quite a few posts about getting real-time data in that forum.
