Record GPS position and log in Fitbit Exercise/Activity?

I have written a GPS Navigation app and whilst my steps and HR are logged as an activity, the GPS position/track is not.  Is there an easy way of logging the GPS position/track so it appears on a map alongside the other stats in the Fitbit mobile app?

GPS isn't currently displayed for custom exercises. Hopefully this will be addressed in an update. In the meantime you can use one of the existing exercise types which does support GPS.
