Relaunching an app

Is there a way from an app perspective to relaunch itself?

I've found out that the companion doesn't start reliably but if I close and restart the app, the chances of success get to almost 100%. 
Is there a way to quit and relaunch?

I think that you should investigate why your app doesn't start reliably and fix the problem.

That is because as of today Bluetooth communication between watch and phone is still not 100% reliable. So having an option to let the app restart in order to workaround this seems to make sense.

@paperinik  Did you ever find out how to relaunch an app?

 

Once a problem on the phone is sorted it is necessary to relaunch the watch app so that the companion is loaded, otherwise as you found the watch app will never work.
