A common problem based on multiple threads is having companion apps sync settings, like color settings, with an app/clock face. My clock face allows users to adjust color via companion -- I had a small update to my clock face unrelated to this functionality, and it got rejected due to:
"the color settings from companion apps are not synced with the clock face."
So I just loaded/tested it, and it (color changing via companion) works fine for me. Because of the connectivity issues reported here, I'm not surprised there are occasional issues, but not sure how to proceed here.
