Did you mean:

SVG circle/rect with background image

ANSWERED

Hi, first things first I am pretty new to fitbit dev.

Nevertheless, would somebody mind to show an example to apply a background to a rect or circle inside a svg? I've tried, but even css seems to be restricted using it within fitbit-studio/sdk.

What's the way to go to show an image as texture of a circle/rect?

Hi,

An easy way is to use the Mask.

You only have to add a circle or anything in a mask. And you can apply this mask to your image.

Hi  @JeremyJeanson , thanks a ton for the hint. It seems to work pretty well on the simulator but on my Versa 2 Device I see nothing from my circle. Changed the circle to a rect and voila, its showing properly. Did you discovered this issue already. And when, would you mind another hint?

Edit: Thats a bug: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/SDK-Development/Versa-2-only-mask-rendering-issue/m-p/4067045
