Simulator not enough, how to publish an app when you don't own a device ?

Hi,

Background info:

I recently bought a versa to my wife to replace her Alta HR so that she would have more of a smartwatch experience.

This was not the best timing as it was just before the outage on the servers so the watch ended up being unusable until I found a way to develop a watchface and upload it to her smartwatch until the market was available again. (She had a trial watch face installed that expired just in the beginning of the outage)

Doing so I discovered how relatively easy it is to develop watch faces and I'm willing to publish the face I developed for her on the app store for free but I can't as I don't own a device.

Question:

Is it possible to assign a device to a developer account and remove it/reassign it to another dev account ?

I don't like this solution, but this would at least allow me to be able to publish something as I can't use my wife account for this...

The alternative would be to have the option to publish apps without owning a device.

I for sure tried the support, but I didn't received any useful answer and was redirected to the dev support forums instead.

They are for sure some things to be tested as I haven't been able yet to get a read of the last sync time, translation variants (but I'm unable to test this with FitBit OS Simulator as it's not possible yet to test this with it) and maybe some more fine tuning. But my wife has been using this sideloaded watchface for a good week now and she is happy with it.

It looks great! Unfortunately, you do need a device to publish to the gallery.

Thanks, last option then, since I can't publish, would there be an option for me to offer the code and have someone else take it over and make it available as a free clock face ?

I don't care who publish the clock face in fact, but having to sideload it on my wife device is not the most elegant way to handle this. (I also hope in the very near future there will be a possibility to have multiple clock faces saved on the device to quickly switch between them...)
