Text paragraph in Settings - rich formatting?

The settings documentation for a Text paragraph says that it supports rich formatting?  What does that mean?  The doc refer to the following properties: bold, italic and align.  Are there any others?

Specifically, is there a way to show red text or text with a red background?

Those properties are the only ones.

Drat.  Maybe you should call it middle-class formatting?

Hopefully in the future color will be added to help with emphasis.
