Hello,
As there are many third party exercise apps available for the Ionic, I would like to ask if using them to track Your exercises (hiking, running, intervals) gives you the ability to check Your workouts on the dashboard later. Can third party apps log GPS routes like Fitbit apps and show them on Your dashboard for a review later?

If the developer of the third party app has enabled the feature it will show the type of exercise and the gps route. Unfortunately there are some problems on at the moment and it’s not working as expected. But as I am informed Fitbit is working on it.

@SunsetRunner have a look under the health and fitness tab in the Ionic App store there maybe something in there which may work for you. It's also worth taking a look in the 3rd party integrations board. and the Fitbit App gallery board too.

Thank You for replying, but I want to know IF I use one of those third-party apps to log my workout, does it show on Fitbit dashboard with GPS details?

Only if the app sends it's info to Fitbit, @SunsetRunner I suggest that you contact the app developer.
I'm going to move your post to the developers board.

Hi @SunsetRunner,
my VirtualPartner (SDK3 version) is at the review right now. I hope it will be released soon. This app will transfer gps data to the user's activity log.

Thanks for the answer!
Can I get some guidance on where to find information about sharing the data with Fitbit? My friend is currently developing an app, but we can't find any info on how to share the recorded exercise with Fitbit and upload it to the dashboard. A guide or a manual would be very nice.

Have a look here: https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/device-api/exercise/
„The Exercise API allows developers to build applications which mimic the behavior of the Fitbit Exercise app. Exercise data is automatically persisted within the Fitbit Activity Log.“
That is the only information I had found.
