Transferring Ownership of Fitbit Gallery App

The app in question is an app we developed for company purposes, and our lead developer has gone on maternity leave. The issue being with the most recent changes to Fitbit accounts the development account was paired to their personal email and we are hoping to transfer it to a company managed GMail account so the other devs do not need to have access to this accounts GMail.

Appreciate any help that we can get, we would prefer not to need to republish the app and have all the Fitbits reinstall the app.

Hi @ac_devel  - the developer uuid associated with an app or clock face belongs to a developer account.

To access the developer uuid and items you need an email and password, if you don't have those you won't be able to access them without some breach of security.

If you have the details you can login and continue to work on the clocks and apps.

Unfortunately even if you wrote to gallery support it would seem highly unlikely they would or even could make such a change.

What might be possible is to delete the current item from the GAM (and online Gallery) and as you know the appid is resuse it under a new developer account if the system allows it, which it may not.

Your first option is to ask gallery support in case they can figure a way without breaking security, if not the only options seem to be to get the original developer email and password to continue development, or create a new version using the original source if you have access to it.
