Use image as type for clockface and Custom Fonts

Hi 

Custom fonts are not yet usable in the SDK. 

Will this be possible in the future?

I read that I can use images as type to create illustrative clock faces. I'm pretty much a beginner so I'm not really sure how to do is. Is there an example or tutorial I can follow to do this?
